Texas Guardianship Association

Educating. Promoting. Advocating.

Membership Types

TGA is the only statewide organization in Texas with its sole focus on improving the lives of persons who are adjudicated to be in need of legal guardianship and less restrictive alternatives to guardianship when possible.

As a member, you will receive TGA member rates to the three-day annual guardianship conference, and exclusive access to the annual Legislative Forum and the opportunity to participate in TGA’s specialized advanced Guardianship Mediation Training. TGA also sends  members monthly emails with breaking news and event  updates.

TGA offers excellent opportunities for those interested in guardianship to receive concentrated continuing education credits  for guardianship certification as well as to be apprised of  legislative and other  developments in guardianship.

Professional Organization Member

Organizations such as state agencies, guardianship programs, court systems, financial institutions, law firms and other entities may join TGA at the organizational membership level.

The organization must choose a primary representative who will be the FIRST to register at the annual rate of $200. That person may register other members or staff of the organization or share the Confirmation Number so that others may register by MODIFYING the registration.

Members or staff of the member’s organization may then register at a reduced rate of $30 per member per year. There is no limit to the number of staff or employees who may register after the organization has become a member.
